The worship gatherings of Antioch are composed of Biblical teaching and various types of music and other arts – all intended to be doctrinally accurate while being culturally relevant and engaging.
“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." John 4:23-24
Though we gather weekly to worship together, we believe that worship is not confined to the walls of a building but extends into the spiritual realm where we join with the angels and saints in proclaiming the greatness of God. It also extends into our daily lives lived to proclaim His glory. Lives of worship are to be built around the framework of the revealed truth of the Scriptures so that we live and worship in the understanding of who God really is.
Various areas of the arts for worship are being developed for future use in our ministries. Some of the already existing areas where you might be interested in serving are:
- Choir (Seasonal choir used mainly for special celebrations and Sunday evening worship events.)
- Worship Team Vocalists (Vocalists used during our Sunday morning services. By audition only. Must be participants in our Worship Choir.)
- Worship Band (Musicians devoted to playing skillfully and with excellence during our worship services. By audition only.)
- Drama Ministry (Actors and actresses who communicate Biblical truth through drama. By audition only.)
- Media Team (Sound, lights, various forms of multimedia used during our services. Some in-house training is necessary.)
- Youth and Children’s Ministries (Each of these ministry areas utilizes people with musical/artistic abilities. By audition only.)
